South West Water Supports Young People's Mental Health

Uncategorized Dec 12, 2023

We were really touched when South West Water told us they wanted to come, meet us and present us with a cheque to fund a Zoom group supporting parents caring young a young person struggling with mental health.

Apparently they had over 400 hundred applications, and after their grants department made a shortlist of 10, their staff made the final decision - choosing us!

We know there are countless parents out there, desperate to better help their child struggling with mental health; and how completely alone and desperate they feel when they're realise they have many months and often years to wait for even an assessment!

Our Zoom Groups fill this gap. We support parents to better help a child who is struggling with emotions and mental health. To guide and support their healing.

PARENTS - you can be a HUGE support for your child or teen...and we will support you in this role.

Our groups will give you:

  • Skills training:
Guiding you to support the recovery of your child or teen using our proven, evidence based system.
  • Self-care:
Teaching how to care for your own mental and emotional health to best support your child.
  • Navigating statutory support:
Coaching you to better access the support offered by schools, the NHS and non-statutory organisations.
  • Peer support:
Connection, community and support from other parents that understand you and share your experiences.

Contact us if you'd like to join one of our Zoom Groups.

We still have fully funded places available - thanks to South West Water.
